Smoked Salmon
Panini
Serves 4
1 Loaf Ciabatta Bread
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
1/2 lb Smoked Salmon, thinly sliced
8 Slices Munster Cheese
1 Large Tomato, sliced
1 Avacado, sliced
1 Tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
Salt & Pepper
Slice ciabatta bread in half horizontally.
Drizzle one side of the bread with
extra virgin olive oil. Then spread
with dijon mustard.
Layer cheese slices, then smoked
salmon, tomato, avacado, and one final
layer of cheese. Sprinkle with fresh
dill, salt & pepper. Top with
second half of bread.
Slice the long loaf into four equal
sandwiches.
Grill sandwiches on a panini grill,
George Forman grill, or use a skillet
and place a plate on top of sandwiches
and weigh it down with a heavy can
of soup. Turn once and grill until
bread is golden brown and cheese is
melted.
